I’m not sure why I can never get around to posti

I’m not sure why I can never get around to posting my shoots on here, but I’m going to try to do better (🤞).
First up in my backlog of sessions is this one! A man! Can you believe it? I actually shoot men (sometimes).

Jeff (@jmtnyc)is a business coach who reached out to me for branding images for his new business. The shoot was so fun and I’m happy to (finally) be sharing some highlights.

My mid-year resolution (is that a thing?) is to be better on here. We’ll see if I can actually do it.

So many magical family sessions this fall. Putting this together really made me miss the beautiful autumn leaves- especially since it has been chilly and wet here lately.
This session, in particular, was really a pleasure to shoot. I don’t think a baby could have had more perfect hair to match the scenery.
Can’t wait for the beautiful leaves next year. 🍂

Oh man, this session. These kids. This family. The sweetest and so fun to shoot.

Every time I shoot a family, my favorite shots are not the ones where everyone is posed and smiling for the camera. It’s a mom holding her baby close, a dad flying his kids in the air, a husband brushing his wife’s hair away from her face.

It’s throwing leaves up in the air, finding a pretty flower, skipping and chasing and having fun.

When we are old and gray, I think those are the moments and feelings we will remember.

Historically I’ve been really bad about keeping

Historically I’ve been really bad about keeping up with the Instagram algorithm. Blame it on the fact that I just turned 38 (!!). I don’t know.
Even though I know that I’m supposed to be posting reels now instead of still images (why, Instagram?!), I always forget to do it.
So, here’s a reel for you. Maybe the first of many, who knows. Until the algorithm changes again.
I’ve posted this session before, but it was just a still image (silly me). This gives a better look into what a full session really looks like.
The weather is still holding strong, which makes me excited for the family sessions I have scheduled this week. Until then, enjoy this reel that a not-up-to-speed-38-year-old made!
